Standards Under Development with GSFC Participation - Data Standards
The
Data Systems Standards Manager (DSSM), Code 450,
is responsible for the development and recommendation of Data Systems Standards.
The DSSM is a standing member of the Standards Review Committee and
reports to the GSFC Technical Standards Coordinator.
Data standards under development with GSFC participation are organized
under the following topics.
If you have an interest in the described efforts, please contact the DSSM
or the GSFC-affiliated individuals identified below with the standard
for additional information about these efforts.
- Communication standards
Ground to space, space to ground, space to space, and ground to ground.
These standards address the protocols
used to move data from point a to point b.
These also include data delivery services and protocols,
and the management of such services.
