NASA Engineering Standards Steering Council

The standards coordination efforts at GSFC are conducted in support of the NASA Technical Standards Program. The GSFC Representative to the NASA Technical Standards Program Office (NTSPO) is Dr. George Alcorn (alternate Steve Scott).

Local Coordination Team

Dr. George Alcorn has been appointed the Standards Coordination lead at GSFC. Under his leadership the GSFC Technical Standards Efforts are organized into three high level categories - Data Standards, Engineering Standards, and Workmanship Standards.

Standard Review Committee

GSFC Review of Proposed Standards are conducted by the Standard Review Committee (SRC). The SRC is a standing organization that includes a representative appointed by each directorate.
